Discover how the foundation of a massage therapist’s scientific education, kinesiology, is now being incorporated by medical doctors in one of the newest yet most effective diagnostic tools. Applied Kinesiology is a system that evaluates the structural, chemical, and mental aspects of health using manual muscle testing combined with other standard methods of diagnosis. AK is a non invasive system of evaluating internal body function based on the strengths and weaknesses of muscle groups.
Join us for a wellness lecture on this fascinating approach to healing, with free demonstrations, spinal screenings and healthy snacks!
Dr. Tony Murczek, founder and owner of the Mountain Spring Health Clinic in NE Portland, is a Naturopathic Physician, Licensed Acupuncturist and is one of few practitioners in the Pacific Northwest who has undergone rigorous training to become a Diplomate of Applied Kinesiology. This gives him the ability to teach other Doctors how to effectively integrate AK as a diagnostic tool in their practice. Dr. Murczek also has a strong educational background in Chinese Medicine, Sports Medicine, Homeopathy, along with other healing modalities.
