Administrative Assistant to the President

Supervisors: President

Hours: 15 hrs/week with the possibility of additional hours
Rate: $16/hour

Expectations of this role include:

  • ●  Working closely with a vision impaired president of an established company, helping to manage emails, draft correspondence, coordinate filing, reading articles and working on writing projects.
  • ●  Assists scheduling appointments, communication and correspondence with business clients and employees, follow-up with consultants and employees about project status and assigned tasks.
  • ●  Attend meetings or participate on calls for meeting summary and notes. May be asked to sit-in meetings for the president as needed.
  • ●  Team oriented, trustworthy and discreet, professional and detail and results focused but friendly and engaging. Must have a good work ethic, creative minded, positive and optimistic.

Requirements: Able to handle confidential information professionally. Good communication skills. Comfortable with technology. Some experience with Word and Excel. Mac savvy. Strong filing and organizational skills. Typing speed of 45 wpm. Prior personal assistant experience strongly preferred.

Assistant Registrar

Supervisors: Director of Education, Director of Enrollment Services/Registrar Supervises: None
Hours: 30 hrs/week with the possibility of additional hours
Rate: $18/hour

Key Responsibilities

Enrollment Services (~15 hours/week)

  • Supports the Director of Enrollment Services/Registrar with all parts of the enrollment process, including data entry and database management.
  • Manages FileMaker and other student database records. Assists with student course registration and Registration Day each term.
  • Supports the Education Administration Team with various student services processes. May be asked to hear student cases and advocate for solutions.Student Services (~10 hours/week)
  • Assists students with academic advising, accommodations, course petitions, final quarter meetings, and career planning. Will eventually hold weekly advising meetings with students.
  • Produces resource lists for students, assists with some management of virtual spaces.
  • Provides recommendations to school leadership regarding improvements to business operationsand student services. Classroom Support (~5 hours/week)
  • Assists with set-up and takedown of classroom spaces. Maintains sanitization of classrooms on a regular cleaning schedule.
  • Assists with planning and coordination of various school events, including Graduations and New Student Orientations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.A. or higher from an accredited college or university
  • One year or more of relevant experience
  • Prior data entry or similar experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a Higher Education/Student Affairs or similar graduate program
  • Prior experience in education administration or academic advising
  • Experience with somatic psychology

Instructor Positions – Portland & Salem

Oregon School of Massage is seeking massage and bodywork instructors for both campuses. Oregon School of Massage is a professional, vocational school licensed by the State of Oregon and approved by the Oregon Board of Massage Therapists. Ideal candidates will have integrated teaching experience (i.e. teaching that engages the student in both objective and subjective aspects of the subject matter), a clinical background as a massage therapist or other health care provider, and additional training or experience in personal growth.

Job Duties
Primary Functions

  • Provide training for students in designated subject areas
  • Conduct classroom operations and activities
  • Practice growth centered education model
  • Participate in quarterly debriefing and staff meetings
  • Assist with curriculum review and revisions as needed
  • Provide grades to Registrar in timely manner
  • Ensure proper set up and closure of classroom
