At Old Wives’ Tale Restaurant, 1300 E Burnside, Portland

Presenters:  Belle Landau, RVP Executive Director; Cheryl Greathouse, LMT; and Abe Cohen, DC

The presentation will describe the issues faced by many military veterans after they return from combat assignments, and will outline the rewards and challenges of providing massage services for this special population. They will provide information about how you can volunteer as an LMT. (Volunteers need to be licensed LMT’s with insurance.)

Returning Veterans Project is a 7-year-old nonprofit comprised of approximately 140 independent health care practitioners who offer free, confidential services to returning veterans and service members of the current Iraq and Afghanistan campaigns, and their families. RVP believes it is our collective responsibility to offer support and healing for the short and long-term repercussions of warzone service on veterans and their families.

A no-host breakfast will be available to attendees.

RSVP requested.
