Student receive a foundation in Swedish massage and in introduction to Shiatsu techniques. Additionally, students are given 85 elective hours and 34 Advanced Practice Skills elective hours to explore a variety of massage techniques or specialize in a specific area of interest. The tuition for the 640-hour Program is $11,995.
What makes our program unique is that you can fit classes in around your life; work, personal pursuits, children and more. Our program is made up of a variety of individual classes, so the length of time it takes to graduate depends on a variety of factors; scheduling, flexibility, number of courses and so on.
With flexibility in your schedule and a full-time commitment to school, you can complete in as little as 15 months. However, if you have other commitments and would like to take 1 or 2 classes per quarter, it may take you up to 2 years or more to complete the program.
Each quarter is 10 weeks in length; most classes meet once per week for 3 hours per session, with some exceptions. Elective classes are generally scheduled over an entire weekend, a single Saturday or Sunday and occasional weekday classes.
Homework and Practice Massages
You can expect 2 to 3 hours of reading, practice massages, homework and study for every 1 hour you’re in class.
